The Nintendo Wii is now already in circulation and the response have been incredible. There are still some stores that have yet to meet preorders listed since late last year. South Korea is still awaiting the release of Nintendo Wii and the Wii Games that can be played in it. Wii will be released to them late this year.

Game developers have coordinated with Nintendo and have offered many prototype games for consideration. Many games have already been released along with the Wii console. A total of 275 Wii games are already released or are still being developed. There is a great demand for these ever since the Wii console came out late. It seems the players can not get enough of the Wii console and the Wii games.

Popular Wii Games

Among the more popular Wii games are The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess which is really very riveting and hard to let go of. More popular games are Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Sonic and the Secret Rings. The others which are also popular are Super Paper Mario and Mario Party 8, Red Steel, Trauma Center: Second Opinion and sports games which are available with the console. Another set of games also come bundled with the Wii Remote.

Other Wii games are fast coming out and catching up with the other games’ popularity. Several of these are old games which have come out in the Wii games format so players can play their favorites on the Wii. One of these is Resident Evil 4 Wii edition which is set to come out on June 19 of this year. Another is Mortal Kombat: Armageddon which already came out last May 29 of this year. These remakes or new versions are very popular and even if the players already have them in another format, they still desire the Wii games because of the graphics and the new features.

Wii games are very saleable and there is a high demand for them both in real stores and online stores. Prices are usually the same rate with both kinds of stores although some stores charge more. Players still buy the pricier Wii games because the cheaper ones may have already been sold out or is still being ordered.

Most Wii games are based on previously released games or movies. The latter Wii games are very popular due to the exposure they have received in the movie or in television advertisements and promotions. Expect more software to surface as the Wii console gain more popularity in the video game industry.
